“ We ventured to Chico to pick something up and stopped for lunch at Sake Sushi. We didn't do the all you can eat but the 3 rolls for $30!!!!! They were perfect sized for someone who cant eat much. They were delicious and so fresh. The spicy garlic edamame was fantastic. What a lovely and friendly wait staff and everything was spotless. Please give this restaurant a try....fresh, delicious and good prices!!!!! ”
“ A fun place to go with friends. Very good food and good service. The price is a value for the whole experience. ”
“ In town on a work trip and stumbled upon this place & WOWWWWW! Just yes. Everything is made super fresh I can't even believe it. Come 10/10 ”
“ Been a few times now. Not too busy. Priced great. Food doesn't take too long to get there. Nice staff. Wish they had dipping sauces besides soy. The Al la carte doesn't have pricing for take out on menu ”
“ Sushi is low quality and small I like buffets because it allowed me to go ham without needing to worry about cost so here are my opinions But, they dont taste bad. Red snapper was kinda bad though. But some were great like the seared salmon nigiri. I went with a buddy and we both agreed our most favorite was the dynamite roll. I personally dont like cream cheese on sushi but I actually thought the cream cheese in the dynamite roll was really good and it tasted really good as well. Hot mama was our least favorite. I think it was the lemon that was on it, they included the peel which tastes bitter. If you take off the lemon, its fine. Katau chicken was interesting, it was a good crunch but my buddy said it lacked flavor while I thought it was good crunch but I wouldnt be looking for more of it. They did have sauce which did help. Ice cream was unexpectedly in a cup. We paid for our meal and took the ice cream with us outside lol Extra Idk if I mentioned in my previous post but they constantly ask you how many pieces you want when you order nigiris Water came with a straw without needing to ask Came in at dinner time on a tuesday and not that many people but still like 3-4 tables were filled. I personally think having less people is good since this kind of buffet relies on service, you get better service when they're less busy. And yeah we got pretty good service today, they constantly came asking if you want more and plates came in at a reasonable time. Service was far better than my first time here. For a buffet, the sushis quality makes sense. If you want better quality sushi, this is definitely not the place, almost every other sushi place serves better sushi but as a buffet, you do get to try a lot of their menu and since the sushis are small, you can try even more Also did not get food poisoning. And i got happy full which is my favorite kind of full 4/5 star, would be 5/5 if sushis were of better quality ”
“ Our kids brought us here for our first time, they mentioned it's a sushi buffet so we didn't expect much as we've been to many sushi buffets and so far all our visits were just okay. The service is great! It's fast, staffs are polite and warm. They're make sure empty plates are out of our table. And attentively coming back to us if we want to order more. The foods are great as well! I must say this is not your normal sushi buffet. This one, you have to order from their menu, and then once you finish that meal, then you can order again, and again and again.... The price is 22.99 per person but that includes all you can eat from appetizer, soups , salads and entrees plus deserts!!! Where can you find that price for those many foods with the inflation right now lol. And all the sushi that we tried are really fresh. The place is huge, clean, restrooms are clean. There's many tables, I love that it's spacious and not overwhelmingly loud and crowded. Will go here whenever we're in Chico! ”
“ Super excited for this AYCE sushi place.! The sushi always came out really fast and fresh. Depending on the time you come you will either pay Lunch price or the Dinner price with a 90min time limit... which is pretty normal for establishments like this. The servers are very attentive, quick, and great with helping. They're more than happy to take your order, making sure you get all the rolls you want... anddd at the end you can get ice cream! One thing I didn't like was the sauce that is drizzled on top of the nigiri. When I first ordered it, I didn't know they did that.. but the more I kept ordering and the more I kept forgetting to omit that from the order... so that's my fault. I'm sure you can tell them you don't want the sauce on it. However, if you do go, definitely get the fried chicken from the appetizer section.. it's surprisingly really good and very crispy! Each time we go, that is one of our go-tos. It's nice and clean inside, quiet and does have cool decor. Overall, highly recommend going. If you go out and get sushi at a different restaurant 3-4 rolls already cost more than 35$.. So if you can eat more than 3-4 rolls, come and try this AYCE sushi place. ”
“ We are in town for a big fire and decided to hit up this local sushi spot. Good reviews and AYCE led us here. Service was a little slow, sushi was fair. I see this place being a great local spot with consistent sushi. Here are some photos of some Of the rolls we had. One thing that should change is the music. It was horrible. Not inviting or lively like a sushi place should be. ”
“ Came from Mt Shasta / Lake Caverns area, decided to get some sushi for lunch. We initially wanted to go somewhere close but all the places closed early. As we drove back home, this spot popped up in yelp and did not close in the afternoon. Ended up here for a late lunch but still open. The service was great. They were quick to get our orders and follow up if we needed more. The place looks big and was not busy at the time we came. It's clean and comfortable. Id come back if i was ever in the area again. ”
